This section features games played by members, past and present, of Sutton Coldfield CC. Besides being replayable in a Java applet - if supported/enabled by your browser - they are also available for download in PGN format (and include the notes, if any, that are displayed in the applet). The database includes a defeat for the eleven-year-old Julian Hodgson, and simul defeats for the Russian GMs Vassily Smyslov, and Mark Taimanov. There is also a game from IM Andrew Martin’s Chess World Record simul, and a simul defeat for IM Robert Bellin.
To start viewing click on a game from the list, and there should appear a pop-up window in which you can replay the game. If anything goes wrong, simply close the pop-up, and restart by clicking on a game again.
